A computer for education

Hi My name is Faizan and I am a high school student that needs a new computer. I know that I would need to be on a computer to do this and I am but the computer I am using is older than I am and is breaking down and has cut me because it has some parts chipped off. I am hoping I can at least have a new computer next year as I am told I am going to be doing a lot more writing that this year. This will be a big help as I am always on the computer finding and learning new things. I plan to become a computer engineer after collage and I am hopeing that with the money i raise that I will be able to buy a computer that will last me through collage.
