A computer for ALTafawk center

The ALTafawk center is a small school located in the refugee camp of Jenin in the north of the West Bank in the Palestinian Territories. The children of the poorest families of the camp can apply for English classes. Since 2017 the center has opened a small kindergarten. At a small age they're being taught English and to respect gender equality. We try to give them a healthy meal a day as well.

Due to lack of resources, the center can't afford to buy a computer. We do feel that this is necessary to give a good as possible education to the children. They will learn much more through audio and video exercises. Besides showing them English animated movies, we want to give the possibility to the children to communicate through Skype with children from other countries and other cultures. This will help their growing process and make them more openminded.

Therefor we would like to ask you to help us realizing this project by donating any amount of money you can spare. This will help the children tremendously and it will give them more motivation to create a better life for themselves and their family.

With the given funds we will buy a computer with a large screen and a projector. It will have a good place in the center.
