A CHRISTMAS TREAT FOR KIDS

Good day everyone. My name is Krystyl, I am a freelancer and a Sunday School teacher since I was 13. Please note that I do not represent any organization whatsoever, I am just an individual who desires to make a change by traveling and spreading God's word to younger generations. Doing this also helps me a lot in dealing with my depression and anxiety, but that's another story. Anyway, someone told me about this website so I decided to post here.

In the pictures are my Sunday School students. According to the locals, there are approximately 50 children living in this area. Their ages range from 4 to 14. Okay, let me give you a little backstory: It all started on February 2018, when I went to this place called Hda. Leticia to see if I can teach Sunday School. I asked help from the locals and they were very kind enough to find me some students. As the kids gathered around, I saw their excitement and eagerness to learn new things about Jesus. They were attentive, smart and fast learners. They had so much fun as I did, so I decided to go back every Sunday to have a regular class with them, instead of my usual one-time visit per place. I usually give them bread and soup after our class.

After our lessons, I also take time to look around, play with them, and ask about their personal lives. I've known that most of their parents work as farmers, and due to poverty, some of them could only eat once a day. They also lack school supplies and have to make use of the old ones they own.

Now that Christmas is coming, I want these kids to have a memorable Christmas party, but I don't have much to spare (I also have bills to pay, sadly). I would like to ask your help to make their Christmas special. I plan to give them gifts, plus a bag of groceries for their parents. So I hope you would be kind enough to help me with the expenses. I think $30.00 per kid would be enough, so I set the goal to $1500.00. The party will be on the 24th of December, so I hope we'll reach the target by the 23rd.
