A Child Born with a Rare Syndrome

Hi, my name is George. I am raising funds to cover the medical expenses for my nephew Rakan. Rakan was born in 2017 with a rare syndrome that caused him to grow slower than the average kids. This is one of very few cases. The mutation caused Rakan to have short arms and elbow joint contractures. Also, he was born with Cleft Palate that makes him choke a couple of times every time he eats or drinks. My sister, Rakan's mother, has been taking him to physical and occupational therapy and treatment to many hospitals. Rakan is almost 2 years old and weighs only 10 pounds which makes it even more difficult to stand. As a result, he is going to need a walker or a standing frame in addition to eye glasses, hearing aids, a technology for his arms, and other medical equipment to support him in his daily activities. We are looking for an institute or a foundation in the United States that funds such medical expenses or provides services that takes care of Rakan's situation. We would also really appreciate any financial support from the public that will help in Rakan's situation. Thank you.
