A Chance At Life Again

My Name Is Micheal Murray, I have been fortunate enough to meet amazing people in the world & one person who stands out is a young girl whom I had met in a Hospital in South Africa.

A smart young, bubbly and humble girl. Her humility touched my heart when we met in a hospital after I was treated for a small accident after my surfing trip in Durban. We met in a ward, where I was being treated. I was captivated by her readiness to assist and mind my 5 year old daughter, they got along like a house on fire for 2 straight hours, I could see how she loved children and how my daughter felt safe and happy around her.

I had thanked the girl for minding my daughter after I was treated to go home, but I could see how emotional she was when she was saying goodbye to my girl, to my surprise she had told me that her chances of having children of her own where getting slimmer by the day. She is currently diagnosed with uterine cancer and is currently being treated for it. This touched and moved me so much I had told my wife about this I literally made her cry.

We decided to visit her again today with my daughter and wife. We had learned that she is also a Medical student and she is currently at her early stages of her Stage 2 Uterine cancer and discovered that an operation was her only hope on life and carry a life as well, we decided with my wife to give out a helping hand wherever we can and give 'her' another chance at life by asking for any financial assistance her operation.
