A care for my friend’s cafe

My friend Amie has owned and operated Madison's only vegan food cart in Madison for the past 4 years. She works her butt off every day to make sure Ladonia Cafe lives up to its excellent reputation, but has recently hit a snag and needs our help. Part of the advantage of having a food cart is its ability to move around; the disadvantages of its mobility are its dependence on a reliable vehicle and the stress it puts on that vehicle. The transmission of Amie's Trooper went out while another food cart vendor was borrowing it, and the repair costs $3,000. She has worked so hard to pay off accumulating bills related to her business, only to be hit with this massive unexpected expense. Amie and Ladonia have done so much for the community, including cooking classes, free food for the homeless, and constant assistance to other food cart businesses. It is time for us to support Ladonia Cafe to ensure it continues to be a part of our community.
