A car for my partner

My partner Tri is a long term sufferer of depression and social anxiety,  along with agrophobia. He has been managing his mental health issues very well until two days ago... His car broke down majorly and is going to cost in the thousands to fix.  My partner will only venture out of the house if he is in his car,  so without a car he has gone back to where he was and all the progress has been lost as we have no way of paying for repair or a new car.  We have a 7 month old son who my partner is desperate to take out places but he physically cannot due to his anxiety. I know asking for £5000 is a very long shot, but I would love to be able to surprise him with a nearly new car rather than one that breaks down quickly.  I love my partner and want him to have his life back!
