A cancer that we will fight! Please Help us!

Dear Listener,

I am a daughter of a sweet, understanding and very supportive father when I had learned that he is diagnosed with Malignant Rectal Cancer Stage 4 with liver metastases.

I was in the office when I heard my dad was rushed to the emergency room. Fright and worry came to me. Calls and messages I sent in were not responded until my dad's image appeared on my screen. Finally, a text telling me that he misses me. I got to the hospital as fast as I could. When my feet reached the floor where my dad stays in, he cuddled all of us and revealed his health condition. We all cried in pain. He told us that he has been sick and diagnosed with Malignant Rectal Cancer Stage 4 with liver metastases. Our family didn't know, he didn't know, but he did feel the pain crushing to his body.

My father, Romualdo Bagtas, has always been selfless and dedicated to serving God and other people; even letting distant friends and strangers stay in our house if they don't have any place to stay. He also helps rekindle the relationship between married couples through Marriage apostolate. He even raised us up to do feeding programs on our birthdays as we believe that our birthdays are special and a gift from God, so we, in return should share these with indigent.

He has always gone the extra mile in helping people, and now, at this moment, we are sincerely asking for your help to aid us in our medical expenses. My father started his chemotherapy yesterday and will continue every 2 weeks in 6 months followed by rectal surgeries, radiations and further liver and rectum laboratory/ CT scans which roughly cost 1.5 million.

I'm Sarah, I love my father so much! He never gave up on me and he is always, always, always and forever loving. I don't want to lose my dad, I want him to witness everything that will happen to me, my mom and siblings. We all still have a long way to go, but as a family, we want to accomplish it together. We are holding up, fighting and looking for all means for my dad's medical treatments. Please help us and pray for him. I just love my dad dearly and I'm willing to do everything just to get him healed.
