A Call for Help (Still in ICU): Manuel Pascua, A Man for Others

Manuel Pascua is a selfless man of service. He is a retired lawyer who used to often help, assist, and provide free legal service to Filipinos who needed his help and assistance the most.

He was a servant-leader in church who spent his weekends in church, assisting in different church events and activities. He is a father of 2 and a doting gransfather to 2 grandchildren.

Manuel Pascua has the innate desire to help those who need him most. He has always been committed to work with and for others bolsteted by the genuine care for the common good.

In mid-November 2018, Manuel was rushed to the emergency room due to fever, chest pain, difficultly in breathing, and extremely low blood pressure at 70/40. Primary diagnosis included septic shock, acute kidney injury on top of chronic kidney disease, acute respiratory failure, and high risk pneumonia. All these on top of his heart ailmemt as his heart bypass was done almost a decade ago.

Manuel has been in the ICU since mid-November due to multiple organ failure. He has undergone several series of tests and laboratory procedures. Through the expertise of his doctors and the genuine care of his nurses, immense improvement on his health has been evident. However, all these are with price - with bills raking up to Php 2.3 million pesos, to date.
