I am currently a university student about to graduate in the next year. What do i study you ask? Video game design, weird right? Its amazing knowing how things work and what goes into a game in todays world. Through the use of a PC I can create unique worlds and characters and put them in a game. And here lies my problem, the PC that I use is one that i got as a Christmas present around 4 years ago, the time i entered my university. So its outdated and its starting to have hardware problems. Its difficult working on this PC too, with 2 GB RAM and a outdated Graphic Card its incredibly difficult to work on a project because these two things limit what i can do on a character or a world and this PC crashes and shuts down whenever it wants. My limitations are for example: A character or level in a game is composed of polygons. A "high-poly" character or level has usually around 1 million or more polygons. With my PC i can only go to around 300 thousand which is significant.

For many months now i have been job hunting to trying to find something to fund a new laptop and help out my mother with bills and expenses since she recently lost her job and is currently searching for another. It really sucks to see her struggle and have no way of helping. A better laptop means those limitations that i mentioned earlier are gone, I can work on incredible projects and build my portfolio, take it to a major gaming studio, get a job doing what i love, and never have to see my family in this situation again. I'll take any support and appreciate it immensely. Thank you very much for your time.
