A brighter future for Ashlei

Ashlei is now a 6 year old child, diagnosed case of bilateral congenital cataracts and microcornea, cerebral palsy and epilepsy.

Her current problems include the following

1. Epilespy- seizures started at 10 month old of age described as intermittent myoclonic jerks during awake state. EEG showed multifocal epileptiform discharges. her seizures now fairly well controlled with the use of Valporoic Acid 125mg sprinkle caps, 2 caps 3x a day, and lamotigine 50mg/tab, 1 tablet 2x a day.

2.Cerebral palsy- she has spastic lower extremities with internal rotation of the feet. She indergoes physical therapy and takes baclofen to decrease spasticity. She can't sit with support but still unable to stand alone.

3 She is clinically blind.

4. She is intellectually impaired and is dependent on parents for all activities of daily living.

5.Thyroid function test screening was performed which showed evidence of hypothyroidism thus she is on maintenance dose of thyroxine.

We're asking for your kind help for our dearest Ashlei to continue her daily medical needs and funding for her customize wheelchair.
