Life is beautiful, if you know how to live it.

A blessed day to all!

I am April Destura,30 years old. Before i got diagnosed with leukemia i was once as healthy as any other people of my age. Life was simple then, I together with my husband work together to earn for our living and provide our 2 daughter's needs. My husband works as a construction worker while i work as a volunteer nursery teacher in a a church-based learning center for almost 6 years, also i have a "side-line" of buying and selling any possible products to earn extra money to be able to help my husband with our financial needs. With all these i may say that my life is content and happy and God is sufficient in all that we need.

But the most satisfying part of my life is serving the Lord, I feel complete whenever I know I make Him smile by doing His ministries.. I am part of our church's music ministry team as a guitarist and a song leader and this priveledge that God allows me to have completed my once broken life as I experienced God continuously work with it (my life).

But suddenly my life turned almost 360 degrees. At the age of 29, June 2017, I was diagnosed with "Acute Myelogenous leukemia" or what they call AML. From July 2017, I started to undergone chemotherapy. For 3 months i've been treated with two different dose of chemo theraphy that gets more aggressive as my illness worstens. In a usual kind of AML carrier those chemotherapies are helpful and beneficial but in my case as i go on and worsten, it's not. Sadly, the type of Leukemia I have is very aggressive, it can't be beaten with chemotherapy alone and October that same year my doctors informed me that I can no longer be treated with chemo because it will not cure me anymore. In line with this, I need to undergo through a BONE MARROW/STEM CELL TRANSPLANT ,that cause a high amount that is out of our ability to afford. We need 3 Million pesos to afford that kind of transplant.

But we do believe that if we move little by little or start it with this plan.. with your little help it will be possible someday.

And because of this I'm knocking to your hearts to support my campaign of funding my transplant. Its really a big help for me and of course for my family.

Life is tough but I am tougher.
