My dreams since I was a little boy who always loves to play and run around and until now it still doesn't change, it is to be a Chief Engineer. I've always loved and dreamed of working aboard a ship on the vast ocean, and my passion for tinkering is what made me come to the conclusion of becoming a future Chief Engineer.
My name is Matt Gabriel Yayon, 21 years of age, currently in my second year of college taking Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering. I am from Laguna, a province near Manila in the Philippines. I was the oldest in our family of five including my mother and 3 sisters, my father died when I was years ago and starting from that the only source of income we have is my mother's job. My mother got me through elementary until senior high but now it is rather becoming more difficult for my mother to fully support my studies.
Since the first year of college, I show above-average grades and will continue to do so. My college is a trimester type, I've got a TWA of 1.62 (Dean's Lister), 1.67 (Dean's Lister), and 1.43(President's Lister) on my first year college trimester respectively, 1.00 being the highest.
I am a hardworking student, a student who's my classmate can lean on, a student with a solid plan for the future and a student with a dream.
Here I am today, asking you with a great heart for support for my studies and future. All of the donation and support that I will receive will go straight for my college matriculation.
