A better life for Nala

Hi, my name is Nala and I'm a 4 years old chihuahua. My family adopted me when I was 2 years old. When my family adopted me they didn't know I had a cronic illness called dry eye (keratoconjuntivitis) It affects my left eye and it will eventually affect the other eye. My human mother suspects this was the reason why my old family didn't want me anymore. Despide my family best efforts and expensive treatments to save my eye, it is too dry and I can't see anymore and it causes me pain everyday. The only left option right now is to take my eye off and the surgery is very expensive. It will be hard for my family and for me but I will adapt to my new life and will be a much happier dog without suffering constant pain.
