A battle with the devastating brain tumor

Just this March 21,2018, my mother Adela "Delia" C. Raga was diagnosed with 6cm brain tumor.

We are devastated with her sickness and caught us off guard as she is very healthy, loving, caring and active mother.( as she is doing her Aero dancing everyday) then suddenly one day this destruction occurs. She complain a lot about severe headaches then she began to feel weak and memory processing is getting slower during conversation.

For my mother’s surgery operation that has been diagnose 2 months ago with brain tumor. Base from the doctors recommendatiom, there are no means of new technology that enables us to carry out the treatment without performing the open brain surgery. Doctors explained to us that the tumor is creating too much pressure and pinning down her brain that causes my mother to suffer this untolerable head ache.

Since the day she was diagnose we never see her genuine smile that is so conatagious that even us coming from work will make us smile. Doctor has given us an ultimatum of 2-4 months if not being treated as initially, My mother does not want to get surgical operation as it is too costly and no assurance of her getting back the old self. But we are not giving up in this fight, not in the name of jesus who will surely blessed us with courage and faith that everything will be alright and this happens for a reason.

Her memory is declining very fast, she don’t know how to read anymore, easily forget things instantly that just been discuss or mention to her. Her body coordination now is not there anymore as she cant walk on her own alone, as its too risky that she might fall from the stairs or bump her head from the door or collapse in the floor. Her taste bud is so bad that she complained all food she takes are all bitter and not delicious. Her frequent severe headaches make her stay on the bed all day, all nighy and not wanting to eat anything and sleep most of the time and accompanied by seldom vomiting. She hardly remember our names right now in repititions at this juncture but still manage to recognize our face .

May 30,2018 she is admitted in preparation for her open head surgery.Today June 05,2018 mama is undergoing her surgery that will take 8 to 9hrs. me and my family are still praying and fighting for her fastest recovery after her operation. With all our efforts to fund her bills and expenses including her road to recovery still not enough, and here in behalf of my family we are knocking at your kind heart and seek for a financial support in any amount that you can. We’ll be forever greatful and thankful for your help and prayers. And may lord our god revert your kindness efforts and thoughts a million folds.
