Tower Valley Special School

People with disabilities are in dare need of therapy which is out of reach to many families. The position as it stands now is that therapist including speech and language, occupation and behavior therapist are very few and mainly found in big private hospitals in Kenyan capital Nairobi

The proposed special needs school will offer specialized education in early intervention, therapies and pre vocational and vocational training to children with diverse disabilities(Autism, Down syndrome, learning disabilities delayed developmental Milestones, global delays etc) and work closely in collaboration with caregivers to train them how to take care of their children.

Working at the center are volunteers specialists and university students hoping to bring change in lives of the children with disabilities. As per now for instance there are less than ten speech and language therapists in the country explaining the reason behind the high costs of access to therapy. But student therapists are ready and willing to support the service delivery by voluntary services so as to help the very needy families.

In line with that i requst for your donation to equip the school and the therapy center with the very essential facilities to enable us help children with disabilities. As per now am paying the full amount of money needed to run the center from my little savings and daily earnings.
