Titus Wants to See Again

Hey everybody!! How’s it going?? My name is Titus, and I am a loyal, & a ((very))rambunctious but kind hearted, fun loving 5 year old pure bred pit-bull mix!! Even though I’m still kind of young, my very short life here hasn’t always been the greatest at times. I’ve been through a lot. I was adopted from a shelter, because at one point, I was going to be euthanized, if I couldn’t find a person who wanted to give me a home, and because us pit bulls always get a bad rep. I was abused a lot in my past as well. My previous owners used me in pit bull fighting, and after that, I was physically abused by the next person who owned me, because they flat out just didn’t like me. Because of my past, I am still very traumatized, to the point where if I hear a loud noise or if someone raises their voice, I will run and hide. As I said before, I finally was adopted by my amazing owner, Dave in March of 2017. He means the world to me, and I don’t know what I’d do without him. We are best friends and pretty much do everything together. He spoils me rotten too!! I do anything and everything I can to protect him, and I’m always there for him whenever he needs me, through the good times and the not so good times, because I love him and I’m so thankful that he rescued me when I needed him. We love to play together with my favorite toys, we go on walks, car rides, I’m usually a good wingman for him, when it comes to the ladies because I’m so adorable. My absolute favorite, is all of the of cuddle time him and I have, and every night, I make sure that I take up most of the room in his bed and I hog all of his blankets, whenever it’s time for us go to sleep. Unfortunately, in October of this year, my owner Dave noticed that something wasn’t right with my sight. Whenever we would play fetch, or when he’d want me to catch one of my treats in my mouth, that he’d toss my way, there were some times that I wasn’t able to see it. He also noticed that whenever he’d look into my eyes, sometimes they’d be really cloudy. So he took me to a specialist to examine my eyes, and it turned out I have cataracts. This will only get worse as time passes unless I am able to somehow get this very expensive surgery to fix my eyes. We are looking at well over $7,500 total. My owner Dave is trying everything he can so that he can make this surgery possible for me, because not only is he my best friend in the whole wide world, I know that he loves me so much that there isn’t anything that he wouldn’t do for me. Dave and I have both been through some challenging times in our lives and that’s what makes the bond between himAnd I not only special and unique, it’s also an unbreakable one, that will last even after our last days here on earth!! —ONE LAST THING!!—☺️I’m really not even asking for the complete/exact amount for this procedure ((that I really really need so badly, or eventually I’ll go blind as I mentioned before in my story)) .... Even if I get close to halfway to my goal, that would help me out IMMENSELY, I just need some kind of help, & I know that there has to be some Pittie lovers out there who love their dogs just as much as my owner Dave loves me!!
