Broadgate Tower Stair Run in aid of Simon Schembri Blue Light Foundation

Team Malta Firefighter Challenges is a non-profit independent sports organisation currently made up of 2 Maltese firefighters. Our Aim is to compete in local & foreign challenges whilst simultaneously promote fund raising to local charities and foundations.

The Broadgate Tower Blue Light Stair Run ❗️

What is it ❓

The Blue Light Stair Run is a new stair climb event at Broadgate
Tower, the first in the UK to be exclusively for emergency services
personnel to compete in teams and in full personal protection
equipment, all while being chip-timed with average times of 10mins.

How tall ❓

The Broadgate Tower is 4 times taller than Tower Bridge!
That's about 1.5 times bigger than Big Ben,
the London Eye or St Paul’s Cathedral.
In all we’ll be climbing 35 floors - that's 877 steps!
It's a long way to the top ‼️

What for ❓

At the Blue Light Stair Run participants may raise money for an
emergency services charity of their choosing and we'll be doing just
that as we are donating all the funds raised during our journey to
Malta’s own, The Simon Schembri Blue Light Foundation ‼️

The mission ❓

The Simon Schembri Blue Light Foundation is a non-profit
organization aimed at providing moral, psychological and where
necessary, financial support to first responders and employees in
disciplined forces who suffer physical injury in the line of duty.
