The Nafiz Modack Foundation's Feeding Initiative is greeted by heartwarming and humbling sight with laughing children and the poor community anticipating a nutritious hot meal daily.

The Foundation's help of regular volunteers from the local township is a blessing to the lives of many poverty-stricken poor communities.

COVID-19 has exacerbated an already dire situation, in what is known as the world’s largest open-air prison.

Currently, The Nafiz Modack Foundation is feeding approximately 1000 and more hungry mouths as well as assisting fellow NPO's and schools in Cape Town, Durban, and Johannesburg on average three times daily.

None of the Foundation's staff members receive salaries, and the food is cooked over open fires by a team of regular volunteers.

It is our responsibility as South Africans to look after our poor. This is the reason that The Nafiz Modack Foundation is involved. They take care, not only of the poor’s physical needs but also of their spiritual and emotional needs.

The Nafiz Modack Foundation's involvement is part of its social development commitment. One of the most inspiring aspects of the project is seeing the volunteers cooking over an open fire under all weather conditions.

This is very humbling and it is extremely hard work.

As you can imagine, expenses do pile up when one is serving the community daily with an estimated minimum expense of R500 000.00 which is needed to feed the hungry Nationally.

We humbly are requesting any donations, which in turn will ensure the smooth operations of feeding the poor on a daily basis.

R 500 – could provide a hygiene pack

R1,000 - could provide food for a family

R2,000 - could cover the cost of urgent medical treatment

No donation is too "small" as every little bit of help is appreciated.

Over 2021, an estimated 2.3 MILLION children will suffer from acute malnutrition. Furthermore, 1 in 5 of those children are expected to suffer from severe malnutrition, who may face death without access to immediate treatment (UNICEF, 2021).

Because of this, The Nafiz Modack Foundation is working through blood, sweat, and tears, to make sure that no child has to go to sleep with hungry bellies. By distributing bread, the most basic form of sustenance, we’re ensuring that each and every child is fed for FREE!
