St. Georges Lebanon needs your help

In the name of Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My name is Elias George Maalouf, a 22-year-old Catholic son of God, and a member of the Catholic St. Georges Church of Rayak.

Rayak is a town in the province of Bekaa, Lebanon.

Being raised in a town where the rate of Catholics still living in Rayak is low, we insist on staying here and ensuring that we are spreading the word of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Even when we had the civil war in Lebanon back in 1975 till 1990, our grandfathers have been able to renovate the church and hold still to our roots, our heritage, our beliefs, our everything, St. Georges!

A couple of years back, we started the renovation of our church, making it bigger and more beautiful as our Lord Jesus deserves to have the most beautiful home we can provide.

The renovation was started and many projects were successfully completed because St. Georges has been very generous to our amazing town Rayak.

Everything was good until 2018, the economy has been deteriorating, and many people have been going bankrupt, so we couldn't raise any more donations for the completion of what remains to finalize our gem.

So we, as the sons of the Melikit Catholic church of St. Georges Rayak have gone out of options, and we are asking anyone who could help us in the continuation of our church.

We are lacking money, and the painter is going to start in August, we thought that we could raise enough money by August but we couldn't so here we are, asking for our brothers who believe in our Lord Jesus, to help us in the continuation of spreading his word and beautifying his home.

We require 18,000$ to complete the drawing of a byzantine ceiling of the church, we have already secured about 3,500$ from donations and from the savings account of our church, but they are way far from our target.

The cost breakdown is as follows:

-10,000$ painters costs(They will be more than one painter).
-4,000$ painting equipment(Painter tools for example painting paper, brushes... rental for 4 months, and the paint).
-2000$ scaffold rental(For 4 months).
-2,000$ workers to help the painter(Estimated cost because the workers will be called upon use).

The payment system will be as follows:
-25% down payment.
-25% during the painting process(Because the painter has to do some of the parts on the ground.
-25% during the installation process.
-25% Upon completion.

-We need to secure 11,000$ by August(50% of the costs) because we need to provide the first 50% while he starts his work, and then another 7,000$ by November so that we can make sure all costs are covered before completion.

Supporting this cause means a lot to us, We are not leaving anywhere, we are staying in Rayak forever, Rayak in general and St. Georges in specific means the world to us, we are protecting God's word and trying to spread it with love, peace and beauty, no matter how much it is going to cost us financially, and time-wise.

With whatever help we will get, we are more than proud to have tried, and we will be way prouder of all Jesus's children on the globe, who are willing to help us, to provide for us, we will mention you in our prayers, we will be forever grateful for this amazing donation that you will provide, we will ask God to protect you and your children, and we will invite you to visit our beloved church and stay in our town for you to see how big of an impact your small donation left.
