Hlokomani Primary School is a rural school in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The learners and teachers have a passion for reading and have started a reading club. However, the school currently does not have a library facility.

We have now decided to revamp one of the classrooms to a reading room that will be filled with books and colour - a welcoming space that will further encourage learners to read.

Over the last 6 months we have sold a self published children’s book, The Great African Read, to raise funds for the reading room. Now we need you to assist with the final round of fundraising in order to get paint for the walls, book shelves and a carpet for the room.
