Campaign Story
Hi, I'm Ces. I created this crowdfunding campaign for my father's medical treatment. He's been diagnosed with stage 4 laryngeal cancer and is scheduled to undergo surgery. His doctor advised us to do the surgery IMMEDIATELY as the tumor in his larynx is aggressively growing and might spread to his lungs. If we postpone surgery, he might not make it in less than a year. If only his previous doctor gave the right diagnosis, he might have not undergone tracheostomy. Having this information in mind, me and my four other siblings have been doing everything to support our father's medication both financially and emotionally. Though my father have five children, not everyone has the capacity to contribute with the finances especially with the running bills and the fees that will be needed for the procedure that will incur us more than a million pesos (meds and daily expenses not included).
As of this moment, we have already accepted that my father's voice is forever lost after the tracheostomy (it was done because he was already struggling with his breathing due to the tumor blocking his air passage). It may sound trivial to some, but for someone who's passion is singing, it is a tragic event. My father was a brilliant singer.
We are praying and hoping that my father will get through his surgery. We need all the prayers and all the help that we can get to help extend my father's life not only for us, but also for his grandchildren whom he treasure the most.

UPDATE ON PAPA AFTER ONE YEAR (A CANCER PATIENT'S JOURNEY)

Sadly, the cancer cells have already spread to his jaw and is growing rapidly and unfortunately, surgery is already impossible this time so we all resort. . . . .

Nadelay pa yun kase naging irregular yung heartrate niya. Kailangan daw to do some blood tests but sadly hindi. . . . .
