Hi there !

After watching some of the most popular drift car DIY channels on Youtube, such as Noriyaro and Mighty Car Mods ( MCM ) Haggard Garage; I dreamt a fraction of what experience they have but ... the situation is not helping at all ...

I am a Senior college student i barely have enough to get by my day to day routine, also the general atmosphere of motorsport in Saudi Arabia is, that you must have connection & big sum of $$$$ to set up some sort of team small or big.

And this ladies and gentlemen is the sad fact of overreach in power, however, i am not keen on pleasing anyone with my sweet talk or A** kissing ... i am here to destroy rubber ... not to destroy dignity.

with that said ... here is the plan, i intend to buy a car - it's going to be a rear wheel drive - as low as possible could be a early 90's japanese car (( not a lots of miatas here unfortunately )) or similar time period and orientation US car, along with that basic performance handling package - or in this case mishandling - such as

(( hydro e-brake - adjustable suspension - entry level high performance brakes - intakes - dyno programing ** car dependant ** .. ETC .. ))

mostly its going to be basic and entry level packages, and it is totally dependant on the car i find, i may disregard some performance upgrades if the car is actually have adequate performance out the box.

in addition to the car and its modifications, as you may have guessed from the title this is going to be around the gcc (( Gulf Cooperation Council member countries )) circuits such as Yas Marina circuit, Bahrain international circuit, Losail Qatar and Dirab park Saudi arabia, it is going to be extensive tour, and it will be hard to get recognition or support without performing and grabbing the attention of anyone else, unless i was born with silver spoon, which i'm not.

Along with said plans, i will be wanting to get used camera such as go-pro and the related gear with it for editing with, also i will get adobe video editing software or anything similar * And Cheaper *.

In the USA and the other better developed countries the accessibility of motorsport and general activities is easy to reach with minimal funds... to which it is the opposite over here in the general area of middle east.

I don't find the dream stops here in Saudi Arabia ... but i see myself in 3 years period out there participating in the D1 Japan and USA, in 5 years i will be able to help young men here to start abandoning the insanity like this one here ** VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED ** and help them let loose in a controlled environments and in safe places to that they go home to their parents unharmed.

what i want from this project to raise awareness on the dangers of the street racing and insane stunting.. i want to help people find safe - and accessible - environments to enjoy their habits, maybe along the way find recognition of their talents, consider me Max Mosley without the sexual scandal.

to break down the the funds needed ... here is the list :-

1- average price of cheap RWD Car + Registration and insurance = 4000 ~ $ *not cheap i know*

2- basic mods = 1000 ~ 1900 $

3- Track entry fees and related = 1050 $ **all tracks combined**

4- traveling and accommodation = 1550~ $

5- used camera and basic editing license = 600 $

Help me kickstart this dream, thank you all for reading this.

Omar Khaled.
