Campaign Story
We are raising funds for Zoey to finish grade 4 at her current school.
Zoey is a very bright and intelligent young lady. She is currently in grade 4. She’s had a tough time finding the right school. Due to emotional bullying and falling through the cracks in big classes she finally is in a school where she is excelling both academically and on the sports field. She is an excellent hockey player and a very strong swimmer. She is also finally emotionally stable and happy.
Unfortunately due to circumstances outside our control we can’t afford for her to continue going to this school. Her grandfather who was helping by contributing financially sadly passed away due to COVID earlier this year.
Zoey’s grandfather’s passing has hit her very hard. They were very close he was always supportive of everything she did. She looked up to him and he was more like a father to her than a grandfather. Taking her out of this school right now isn’t an option. Especially now that she is finally in a stable environment.
Please help us raise the funds needed for Zoey to complete grade 4.

Oops. Someone forgot her school uniform.
Update posted by Johan Vermaak at 05:09 pmZoey has returned to boarding tonight. With all the frantic packing and getting ready to leave we forgot her school uniform. I guess one of us (probably me) will have to do a very early school run to drop off her uniform with her.

Update posted by Johan Vermaak at 08:17 pmSouth Africa has been in lockdown so the last couple weeks was homeschooling. Monday Zoey will return to school for the third term. She has been hard at work over the holidays catching up on reading Charlottes Web and completing an afrikaans project.
