Help Needed…. Medical costs

On Friday 8th September, I had a motorbike accident where I was admitted to emergency at the Gold Coast University Hospital. After X-rays and excruciating procedures I found out I had broken both my tibia and fibula bones in my leg, with fractures throughout my ankle and foot. The next day, I under went a 6 hour procedure to have a metal plate and 4 pins to realign my bones. I have a recovery ahead of me of approximately 6 months till I am able to walk on 2 feet if everything goes well. The surgery went well, however it has left me in a position where I have limited abilities.

As you know, my life revolves around movement, fitness and health and whilst there never is a good time for accidents, this could not have come at a more crucial time as I was making headway in my career and looking forward to this continuing

I moved to Australia to start a new chapter and make a difference in people's lives even if it was just by simply encouraging others to dance in a gym class - this has now all come to a shocking stop.

I am setting up this page in hope that you, my family and friends can help me out in some small way so I can keep on top of my medical bills while I try my hardest to figure out my next steps from here. I truly appreciate you taking the time to read my story and I hope you can help me out, ever AU$ will make a huge difference. I appreciate that things are difficult for many of you and will endeavour to repay you when I am in a position to do so. I am grateful that the accident was not more serious and pleased to be alive.
