Help me raise the amount needed to open my own vegan business of my dreams

Hi everybody! Will you help me raise the amount needed to open my own vegan business? My name is Olga Liara. I am vegan and animal rights activist. I plan to open a pastry shop/cafe, vegan of course, in the town where I live, Chania, Crete, Greece. It is the only pure vegan pastry shop/cafe in town and in the whole Crete island and one of the very few in whole Greece. Except of it is a way to support the vegans in my town, I see it as an opportunity to raise awareness about veganism and animal rights. My goal is to be able to give 1-2% at least of the profits to animal sanctuaries. I have already started the preparations and it would be very helpful if I could have some financial support. The shop is addressed to people who follow a vegan diet, or/and are lactose intolerant, avoid dairy / eggs / animal butters etc. for reasons of health or healthy diet life style, also for reasons of religion such as fasting periods and of course to everybody that likes sweets.

All the above groups are a large number of people that is constantly growing in Greece and worldwide. The vegan community of Chania numbers tens of people, the people who follow a healthy diet are thousands and the people who fast as Orthodox Christians, not only during the great fasts but also for specific intervals and days throughout the year, are the majority of the inhabitants of the city. In addition, Chania is one of the most attractive holiday destinations in the world, attracting a growing number of vegan tourists.

In addition, my contacts and involvement with the vegan community of the city and the island but also worldwide, being myself a vegan, but also my previous work in one of the two and oldest purely vegetarian / vegan restaurant in the city, confirms that A fairly large percentage of residents are interested in purely vegan products and look forward to the start of a vegan patisserie.

So far, the restaurants that have included purely vegan dishes in their menu are in high demand, which still exists.

Moreover, apart from the residents of the city and the region, the fact that Chania is a touristic city, with the touristic season lasting 6 months of the year, the interest of visitors ensures quite a lot of customer traffic during the summer season.

The location of the shop is one of the best, oldest and with a high quality and living standard of Chania, with continuously increasing activity. It is also within the boundaries of the center and the entrance of the city to its core, located at the intersection of two of the main streets of Chania.

The store includes sit in area inside as well as outside but will also offer take away and delivery service too. In addition, it includes an inside mezzanine overlooking the store which will function as an exhibition space for works of art and/or other artistic and cultural events.
