Campaign Story
Hi my name is Cecil Chappell and I work for Cyfair ISD as a Professional Apara. I have been with the district for almost 11 years. I currently provide services at Metcalf Elementary where I have spent the last 4 years. I have a love and a desire to help children. I absolutely love what I do! I enjoy pouring into the lives of children. Especially children with disabilities. I was born with a weak pelvic muscle which has made walking a challenge. There were so many people to cheer me on while I learned to walk. It was not until 3rd grade when I begin to walk for the first time in my life. With the help of so many along the way, I truly believe that it's in my DNA to do this for others. While medical expenses dealing with my disability can exceed my income, this is where I am depending on family in friends to help me in my time of need. Currently the brace I have needs new springs, straps, knee pads, medal leg stabilizer, a hip straps and a shoe. This will cost about 900.00. After depleting my savings to recover from my losses from hurricane Harvey I really need your assistance in order to get a new brace and shoe. Any amount you donate will go a long way. Thank you friends and family for your love and support.
