All Beirut blast victims need your support!

After the devastating explosion occurring at Beirut's port on August 4, 2020, many victims were left homeless, in need of shelters, basic assistance, medical supplies, and legal aid.

The toll of the explosion is dramatic. More than 6,000 people were injured, approximately 200 people were killed, and dozens are still missing. Houses around Beirut's suburbs were completely or partially shattered, while poor and vulnerable groups were met with even more devastating circumstances.

Amid the worsening situations in Lebanon, The Lebanese Center for Human Rights is launching a fund-raising campaign in order to develop its long-term crisis response project after assessing the needs of victims of the explosion. The project is based on the provision of the following services:

- Pro-bono legal aid and consultations for victims facing legal issues with landlords and/or employers.

- Free medical consultations.

-Medical treatment and drug supplies.

- Psychological and social support.

- Monitoring and documenting human rights violations against victims post the explosion.

- Cash assistance.

Due to the banking restrictions imposed in Lebanon, donations will be sent to CLDH’s partner organization in France, Forum réfugiés -Cosi (Fr-C) and will be later transferred to CLDH to provide respective assistance based on the Center's assessment.

Support us. Show your solidarity with the victims of the explosion with a donation!
