Let’s make the Danube blue again | Belgrade Turtle Cruise’s dream come true

I've always admired rivers. Those magical yet so powerful elements of nature. As I live in Belgrade, the Danube has served as a fascination to me for as long as I can remember. Rivers just keep on going, keep on pushing until they reach their ultimate goals, no matter what happens, just as we should (especially now). This admiration of mine didn't come from no where, my parents taught me to respect nature and give back as much as possible. My family and I, as admirers of this natural beauty started a business to share it with other like minded people from all over the world.

Now that I've taken over the business, I've made it my goal to keep showing this beauty to people but in a more environmentally friendly way, otherwise, we'd just be hypocrites. The reason I'm asking for your help is because we alone, in the situation the tourism industry is in, can not reach this goal. The funds will be used to equip our vessel with the needed solar panels and a hybrid propulsion system for starters. Those two alone would be a real game changer for us as a business but more importantly for the two Belgrade rivers (the Sava and the Danube). By making this change, we'd like to influence the entire tourism industry in Belgrade and Serbia (and hopefully even in the whole of Europe) to take some steps towards thinking more about the environment, rather than just providing services for profit.

After all, nature itself provided us with the possibility of offering these services to you and people from all over the world, so we believe it's high time to give back and make our services more sustainable.
