Closing Up 13000 km

My name is Joann Noah and I've fallen in love.

I'm from Singapore and he's from the United states. We're about 13358.12 km / 8300.35 miles apart. He's a very kind and anxious being and I really want to hold him.


Right about now, I should be giving you a story on how you should be donating a 'significant amount' to get us together because of how in love we are, but I'm going to honest here: We both don't expect us to work out and we've never met before.

It's a very special thing and we both are so very afraid of losing one another, but if we had to be realistic here, one of us wants to be an artist and the other a writer, those are very difficult professions to help you constantly bridge between the ocean and stay in love.

But I still want to try this. GoGetFunding is just one of many ways I'm working towards getting the funds for the flight, expenses and lodging (for a week) to him, which is why I don't expect you to donate $1000, $500, $100, or even just $20 - I'm just looking for spare change. I know if I didn't work as hard as I could, I'd be so broken and distraught because this person is too much a gem in this world for me to let go. So even if I go home torn and upset, I want it to be because of the fact that I tried.

I am aiming to hit this goal before 2017 ends or at the very most, April 2018. If you ever do donate though, I'd be eternally, deeply grateful. After my goal has been hit (on my own or here), I will constantly update you with posts, photos etc. And I will do my best to prolong this relationship while constantly updating on my attempts to keep us going. If I don't ever hit the goal or fail to ever see him, it's okay, I will be very upset but at least I tried really hard to be real about someone for once.
