Definitely not me.

I’ve stayed away from cycling throughout my life. But lo and behold, a mastermind (whether naturally-made or manufactured, who are we to say) has caused humans to hibernate in their confined shells for over two years, resorting to a two-wheel contraption; out of boredom - most likely - most definitely.

Alas here I am. Turning 26 and figuring out how to commemorate entering the latter half of my 20’s.

Although I have vocally shown distaste of cycling, I’m not opposed to it. I spin on the regular, everyone I know cycles, it’s tough not to get into it. And it is known cycling became the top activity picked up during the pandemic. The pandemic has as well affected all of us in more ways than one, with those being blessed with means and with those who don’t.

With this, to reflect on the past year or so, I am going to do a 80 km ride with my dearest, cycle enthusiast, Olivia (@olive_on_wheels - need to plug), in Sweden.

I will be raising funds for Arc Children’s Centre. This organisation focuses on providing a safe place for children that has been diagnosed with life threatening diseases; it provides support for families and loved ones who do not have the necessary support
