In August 2015, a party of 11 scouts (aged between 14 and 19) and 6 leaders from 7th Epsom Scouts will go to Tanzania to work on community projects. We started fundraising and team building in February 2014.

On this trip we are building 3 classrooms and toilets for a large school, Udzungwa Primary School, who have 1,600 pupils and only 11 classrooms. We will also be providing them with solar lights for nearly all of their pupils. If we raise enough money we can also buy benches and books for them too.

At another primary school, Mang'ula, we have already sent out money to fix their roof and when we visit we will be plastering the walls and painting educational murals for them.

We can't wait to get there to really start to make a difference :)
