77 Days for Baby Liam

Baby Liam was born premature at 26 weeks. He needed to be placed in an incubator for roughly 77 days for him to fully develop his organs and survive. As you can imagine this has been quite a shock for Baby Liam's parents Jaw and Shere Ann. They have had their hands full with medical test, doctors and insurance. They don't know what the total cost of treatment will be or how long Baby Liam needs to stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), but we felt we needed to start something to help alleviate any financial stress so they can focus on treatment and healing. But to give an idea, Baby Liam's stay at the NICU and the incubator bill is at 7,000 dirhams a day. Multiplied by 77 days will amount to roughly 500,000 dirhams total ($146,000 or Php 7M). Baby Liam's parents already did what they can by advancing their salary, advancing their leave pay and even resorted to a loan with the maximum amount they can get for their salary. But still these efforts are not enough to cover the huge amount of money that is needed for Baby Liam's treatment.
