7 countries in 48 hours!!

On 4th May this year, two lads are driving the following in 48 hours to raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) charity and to also convert a Honda Blackbird motorcycle into a trike.

The challenge being that Alexander 'Ali' Speight and his driver best friend Tony Benyon will be undertaking this trip in a 17 years old battered Ford Escort! Both Ali and Tony will be starting in UK and then will drive through FRANCE - BELGIUM - HOLLAND - GERMANY - LUXEMBOURG - AUSTRIA - SWITZERLAND - then back to UK. To do this is a feat of extreme endurance for any guy in a decent car but for a guy in an old escort that is lucky to break 60mph, and his partner in the event that has MS. This will be one hell of an achievement!

Originally Tony was going to do this himself for Ali and use his motorcycle but because Ali wants to be involved in it they decided on the car. The funds raised are so that Ali's beloved Honda Blackbird can be converted into a trike allowing Ali the opportunity to ride for as long as time and his determination will allow.

As Tony does all the driving, Ali will be updating all of us with the progress of the road trip via this page, Facebook, Twitter, Instragam and YouTube. I know we have all experienced this illness with someone we know in our lives, so let's try to help Ali get a few more years riding.

2) To make you feel you're part of the trip we will be hosting a raffle style competition. The person who guesses the time the lads complete the Nurburgring in Germany. The Nurburgring is 12.8 miles long! The person with the nearest time given will win a prize!

3) If you donate more than £5 your name will be written on Tony's car. Your name and hometown will be shown on the car.
