Hello my name is Reece! I am 17 years old and was born with an Unknown Syndrome. I cannot sit up unaided and I cannot walk. I have all my special food via a tube into my tummy as I cannot eat anything orally and I have to use pads for toileting. Also I have hydrocephalus, which is fluid on the brain and can only communicate with a few words (which are occasionally used in context) and by smiles and laughing when I am happy, which is most of the time, despite my numerous problems. I live at home with my mum, her partner Michael, my two sisters Maddison and Morgan, and my brother Landon. We have a three bedroom house and I am in desperate need of my own bedroom downstairs as space is a real problem for us at the moment. Unfortunately we are struggling to get help with funding for an extension, and any chance of moving is likely to be five years away, which is far too long as we need help now:( Whether or not we can raise money will decide if my mum has to consider a home for me as it is becoming increasingly difficult for my needs to be met.
