3DPrintMe

Hi my name is Jeffrey and this is my project JeffersonPrinterz.

This project first started out as an idea to build some simple 3D models for a hobby, but after doing further research I realized that there were such machines that allow the modeler to print his product in 3D. These machines were called 3D printers. As a young boy I dreamed of creating toys or models as a job but knowing that earning money would be a impact on this dream. This is why I decided to create a new business located in Aurora Ontario called JeffersonPrinterz. 

JeffersonPrinterz would be a unique service started out in the one of the most diverse provinces in Canada. The service is very similiar to other 3D printing services but the unique selling point of the service is that it will cost a fraction of the price that other sites may charge. Right now the 3D printing industry is just begining to rise and to produce new products by modelers themselves without buying huge factories in foreign countries. JeffersonPrinterz will allow a consumer to send in their 3D .stl modeled files to me where I can help print the product and ship it to the customer directly to their doorstep. The best part is shipping will also cost a fraction of the leading competitors price. 

The money raised in the project is used to help me start out the business by buying my first 3D printer. Right now I am currently looking into purchasing a machine from the company PrintrBot which was also a funded project on a site called Kickstarter. I will purchase PrintrBot plus which will alow me to print in high resolution detail for consumers. Once the machine arrives I will begin constructing it and printing out parts. Currently there is no website, but that being said, a site is being started up during this summer which will allow customers to see some of our unique products and services. Once the site and the printer services begin growing larger I plan on expanding the service again by purchasing another printer to help in the production line. The service will start out in Canada only at first and hopefully will expand into the U.S. later on.
