Campaign Story
My son, Daniel, is a little crazy about electricity, engaging and designing different experiments with cables, diods, switches and bateries. It would not be strange if he was only 6 years old. The first cable was in his hand (rather in his mouth) already before the first year and since then he played a bit differently than other children. At present, he has several kits to build various power and movement projects, such as simple flashes (controlled by sound, buttons), electric piano, AM radio, traffic lights, transducers and fans, and so on. With his questions and attempts (diassembling small electric motors from toys), he was able to understand how the electromagnet works and even one of them has recently built. Now he will go to school (big milestone, right?) and his great desire is to build a 3D printer and develop its knowledge of attempts with it.
It does not want to be just a printer. It should be stable, repairable with good component durability and allowing for larger models. In addition to the construction itself, he wants to test and understand simple 3D modeling, produce presents and tools, and who knows, perhaps using the printer, to invent and construct some real invention.
Please help him grow up inventor and designer in this little scientist. It's his world. Thank you very much.
