Hello viewers, we are using this platform to raise funds for the Engineering Club of Herbert Morrison Technical High School. The primary purpose is to fund a 3D printer (Original Prusa i3 MK3S), a tool we know and believe would be of immense value for our members and school, aiding greatly in the development of our projects and secondarily providing us with assistance/guidance in our professional development.

For some background, the club was founded in 2014, and since that time we have accomplished an outstanding number of projects and implemented them at H.M.T.H.S; the latest and most advanced being an Augmented Reality Sandbox (AR Sandbox), a system we developed to aid teachers, primarily those that teach Geography, by digitally augmenting an area filled with sand, allowing both students and teachers to visualize, interact and recreate topographical features as well as simulated weather conditions and an interactive school simulation, where students and new visitors of the institution can walk or be guided around the campus using their phones or computers.

We have also entered a number of competitions, most notably The Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica's Renewable Energy and Science Competition, where we've been placed in the top 3 consecutively since our conception using in house developed systems such as an automatic renewables to utilities switching system and a scaled dual axis solar tracker to name a few. The competition has benefited the institution; providing a 3 kiloWatt solar system as well as being a platform that showcases the innovative & talented students our club possesses. The Club was also recently featured during a Jamaica Information Service program after catching wind of one of our major projects. We also had the opportunity to showcase a number of our projects at the Build Expo and Conference Jamaica 2019.

Up until this point, we have been funded through our dues & competition winnings, lunch sacrifices and generous donations by a few who saw the passion, value and quality in what we do.

We have lots of innovative and new projects planned, while always adding more. We would love to continue our journey on becoming future engineers; inspiring and effecting change in our community through our passion, talents and creations. Each member of the club thanks you for your time, consideration and contribution if you choose to do so!
