[$30 for 30] 30 days Yoga Teacher Training for T’s 30th

My not so dirty thirty.

As most of you know, I have been living abroad for the last year after a bit of a tumble that had me see the light after a wee knock to the head. Its been a bit of a recovery process and one hell of a story since. I've been living on the side of a volcano in the middle of a shark infested lake in Central America, riding horses through the jungle, dancing in the dessert at Black Rock City, performing with the circus and housing an artist residency for performers from all walks of life, buying my first motorbike and teaching myself how to ride it, teaching with a tribe of circus freaks in community centres and schools, learning the ways of Shamanism, connecting with everyone from entrepreneurs to homeless folk in the park with Acroyoga... Just to get started.

You could say I've been ticking off one mega bucket list as the chapter of my 20's closes. Yes, that's right, I'm turning the big 3-0. One of the big ticket items on my list is to complete my Yoga Teacher Training. You probably all know that I have been banging on about yoga since my first class in a class room at good old Gosford High School, and it certainly helped to get me through some of the more challenging times of my life. The time has come that I start to give back. I have decided to take a 30 day Yoga Teacher Training course in the Yoga capital of the world, Rishikesh, India.

The ultimate goal: To set up a yoga and circus community centre with my baby business, Momentom Collective in Nicaragua. I will be sharing an investment in some land there with the tribe and my vision is to be managing the design and build of a fully sustainable base for us to live, teach yoga, host retreats, run our artist residency program and social program in this developing country.

Rather than gifts that I don't need and have nowhere to house, I have set up this campaign for anyone wanting to contribute for my Teacher Training. A gift that will keep giving.

I've suggested $30 for 30 days for my 30th for obvious reasons. Ironically its also the going price for a yoga class - so your first one is on me! Otherwise, feel free to give as little (or much!) as you like... or you can roll your eyes at someone funding themselves with a campaign - the intention is simply to avoid unnecessary gifts and dodge the question of 'what do you want for your birthday' while receiving a gift that will be a life changing experience.
