Please help Reinvent Community, to launch a social enterprise.

We are looking to raise £2500 to help start this great venture. Which will go on to become a fully self sustaining enterprise, serving the local community and beyond.

Long term sustaining capital will be raised via various streams, which will including the sale of donated quality second hand clothing and goods via our online shop and at a local indoor market in Islington, both successfully piloted.

Some of the things we will need to acquire. Will be, suitable office space. The hire of a suitable clothing bank for 24 hour clothing drop offs; Storage hire in Islington; the hire of a small van, together with some market paraphernalia such as clothing rails and market tables.

Kwame, the man behind this social venture, came up with the idea after running a pilot Youth Project in Islington during 2012 and 2013 which was a great success, and helped three Islington youngsters to find worK. Since then Kwame has done a great of deal of ground work. Researching various ways in which his initial idea could be improved. After a great deal of networking and liaising with many different youth organization, and community groups etc, the concept of Reinvent Community was borne this summer. Kwame has also collaborated with a local church. The 'Holloway SDA Church'

Participating in this years successful 'Community open day' event held by the Church on August 27th. The Church has been a great source of support and assistance and will be looking to help much more in the future.

Kwame now has a great support team behind him, who are at the ready to make this social enterprise a great success.

The main long term aims of Reinvent Community is to Inspire, uplift and help youth and young adults alike to tap into their potential. Helping them to understand the great ability they naturally posses, and for them to go on and harness this potential: creating positive impacts on their communities.

The project will initially start by offering a mid week career advice service, leading to addition Sunday career advice service. linked to a dedicated Youtube channel aimed at stirring interest and building a following. As things progress and Reinvent Community becomes more established, we will start to cover more community development areas..

It can be a fine line between our youth making positive and productive career choices, and taking an inappropriate route, which applies to many adults alike, who may want to improve their lives by making career adjustments.

With an ever changing technology led employment market, coupled with so much happening in Europe. The need to assist young people especially, is something we should all be concerned about. For a better tomorrow.

Also note; We are looking for people with careers advice experience, who may be interested in getting involved, starting February 2018.

Thank you for reading..

Reinvent Community would so much appreciate your support..
