Aifaa's Shelter Home Sweet Home has over 400 stray cats rescued from accident and abused cases. The owner started this rescue mission since she was a teenager, all by herself and it has been over 10 years she continues her mission. Her love for the animals is overwhelming, she would skip meals and sleep to take care of them, drove them outstation for surgeries. She does not have enough funds to keep these furry babies and is asking for help from kindhearted people all over the world. Any amount is much appreciated. Thank you for your love. While many of us celebrated Raya and long weekend holiday, shelter owner, Aifaa (or rather known as Coco) was busy attending to hundreds of cats and dogs in her 3 shelters.
Just last week, Coco received a call regarding a paralysed kitten someone dumped at the market. The kitten is now with her, needs immediate treatment.
Bad news, mother cat and 3 kittens she rescued earlier - diagnosed with Sporotrichosis. She had to arrange pet taxi RM 500 (transport from Penang to KL) and fork out RM 500 for 1st treatment with Sheniarisan Sporotrichosis Feline Rescuer. This centre is experienced with Sporo cases and many had healed.
It's ongoing treatment and each month estimate to cost around RM 1k.
No Raya celebration for Coco for 16 years ever since she started her rescue mission for these Furry Kids.
This Raya holiday meant MORE work for her as a lot of cats were abandoned. She has also some petsitting to do on top of handling her shelters with over 400 cats.
Her only hope is that some of us, spend a little time, give a little of what we can to these 4 legged. Her only hope is a SECOND chance for them.

Had been feeding this mother cat, Maggie for 5 months next to a construction site. She was very skinny and always hunting for food. Later we found out that Maggie has 5 cute kittens and is pregnant again. She was very nervous and would not come near. After about 3 months, she started to relax a bit and let us touched her (not stroke though).
Her tummy was getting bigger and the site that she's hiding is not safe and very noisy for her and her new kittens later. We decided to trap her. It was quite easy as she trusted us. Kinda sad as we will miss her and temporarily she will miss her 5 big kittens, but we feel it's the best for her and her babies in her womb.
Early morning 2am, we called Coco and she came to the rescue right away to foster Maggie. It will be at least 5 to 7 months before we can get Maggie and her kittens adopted. The other 5 big kittens are still running around and we are planning to trap and neuter them before we find them loving home.
The shelter currently have some mother cats and kittens similar to Maggie's case. Other than that, there are many paralyzed and sick cats needing medical attention. We welcome donations which will be used mainly for food, medication, vet bills, vaccination, spaying and washing supplies (to keep the shelter clean and comfortable for the furry kids).
USD 1 can make a difference. Please share this post. These lovely MEOWs can't help themselves but YOU can.
Is it too much and difficult to help these strays?
Nothing is too much for Coco Chan when it comes to love for the cats and dogs. She has been doing this since she was a teenager, about 13 years, alone. She would go hungry and sleepless to take care of them. That's how much she love them. She is not rich and she has just found a place to start her own business (boarding). It's new and she's still struggling to cover and pay for the high accumulated vet bills.
Almost every week, Coco Chan rescues 1 to 3 stray cats. Some of them are in very serious condition and admitted for 2 weeks or more. Some needs medical supplies. Currently the shelter has over 300 cats and welcomes donation to cover the vet bills and food plus daily supplies (cloth, detergent, cardboards, cages, etc).

New kitten found (30 Apr) from drain, both legs broken/fractured:
Bobo has FIP (Feline infectious peritonitis) infection, the neck wound caused by human putting a rubberband around it for a long time until rescued on 4 Feb 2018. He has been admitted for in animal hospital 2weeks+, the FIP condition is not helping and need more medication which is very costly.

How evil can human be? VERY!!!This pregnant cat was rescued by Coco (Aifaa) last week. She was splashed with hot oil and had her whiskers burnt. Coco sent her to vet for immediate treatment. She named the cat IBU (as in 'Mother' in Malay).Good news! …
