This March, I am running 27 miles in 27 days for the charity, Mind, which offers mental health support for students and people who are struggling mentally at the moment, and it is clear that a lot of people are. The reason why it is called the 27/27 challenge is because 27%of university students report a mental health problem whilst they are at university. The number of students reporting a mental health problem is five times greater today than it was ten years ago and three times more students are dropping out of university because their mental health.

If you would like to find a bit more out about Mind, please click the following link for a YouTube video where Stephen Fry, the head of Mind, talks about the charity: https://youtu.be/OPxHTZRwXX8

A friend told me about the challenge and I loved the idea and I think it will be a good thing to do. I am putting a lot of stuff on my social media about it to help raise awareness for Mind and mental health in general, and also I have set up a fundraising page for my challenge. All the money will go to the charity and that money will hopefully help Mind support others who are struggling.
