In August, my friend Cat and I are taking on the 24 Peaks in 24 Hours challenge to raise money for the Make A Wish foundation. This challenge involves climbing 24 peaks in the Lake District, including Scafell Pike, over two 12 hour hikes.
Our choice of charity, Make A Wish Foundation, gives children with life-threatening illnesses a chance to get a wish granted to give them days of happiness and excitement.
Having only lived in very flat cities, the thought of climbing 24 Peaks over a weekend is a tough prospect for both of us! However, we're both very excited to take on this challenge.
We need to raise £500 so we would be incredibly grateful for any donations! Thank you!
