Hi! I am raising money to go on the Zambia Immersion Trip in my school where we help support people in need, in Zambia. I am doing a number of fundraiser such as a charity concert and fast.
Here I am asking for sponsorships towards my 24 hour fast starting on the 19th of October 2013.
Zambia Immersion Project 2014
The Zambian Immersion Project for the current school year is very much up and running. Three teachers, one member of the Parents' Council and nine students will travel to Zambia in April 2014. The focus of this year’s Immersion is the “Twalabuka Project”. This project involves the building of two three-bedroom houses for married teachers and four “bedsits” for single teachers at Twalabuka Basic School. This will allow teachers to live on site. The development will include solar panels as there is no electricity and a borehole (a well) to cater for the absence of running water. It is envisaged that well and the solar panels will service the needs of both the new teacher accommodation and the school itself.
