I'd like to thank everyone who's reading this.

My name is Edward Soares, I'm 21 years-old, my boyfriend is Arley Sousa, 19 years-old. We're both faculty students. About 3 months ago, I was thrown out by my parents from their house, due to them not accepting my sexual orientation and my relationship.

Since then, I've been with my boyfriend's family. When I was thrown out, I could only take my documents, the clothes I was wearing, and a bag with a few personal things. Everything else that I could not manage to put in a bag hastily, I had to leave behind.

That was an extremely traumatic experience, being thrown out of home by your own parents this way, simply because you're not ashamed to be gay and have a loving boyfriend. My family is of profound Christian Catholic religious conviction, they believe what I'm doing is wrong, sinful and I'll go to hell.

We're completely vulnerable now, still looking for jobs, not with much success either. We cannot stay here in his mother's house, my boyfriend's older brother also doesn't accept the fact that we're gay, he's an Evangelical Christian.

Please, help us rebuild our lives! Thank you.
