People to People European Heritage Program

In the summer of 2013, I will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to travel with the People to People organization on a European Heritage trip to 7 different countries over 20 days. We will be visiting England, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland. In each country we will learn the local customs, visit many important landmarks, and experience the rich culture and history that Europe has to offer.

While visiting each country, we will perform various acts of community service (in 2012, People to People Student Ambassadors will have completed more than 86,500 hours of service around the globe!) In addition, I will earn a full high school credit equal to 120 classroom hours from the pre-travel and travel coursework I complete.

The cost of this program is $7,509, and I am attempting to raise all of this money on my own (I've raised about $4,000 so far). I will be doing what I can to contribute towards my goal by babysitting, dog walking, raking leaves, etc. I am also accepting donations of any amount through PayPal or by Credit Card. With any donation of $20 or more you will receive a free DVD containing the many photographs I will be taking.
