CA$0.00raised of CA$50,000.00 goal goal
Hello and Welcome
I have set up this page to help the Flood Victims in Southern Alberta. On June 21-23, 2013 Southern Alberta was hit with a devasting flood the likes of which has never been seen. From Banff and Canmore, Calgary, Bragg Creek, Okatoks, High River to Lethbridge, Several communities and whole towns have been destroyed. Several First Nation communities are so devasted they need to be rebuilt from the ground up.
This flood spared no one. Over 100,000 people were displaced and to date there are still over 25,000 not able to return to what they called home. People are in dire need of diapers, food, clothing, and other basics to survive. Many have no jobs to return to which will last up to several months.
Whether it is a $1 or a $100, this money will be used to buy necessities for these families. I urge and plead for help to aid in this relief.fundraising effort.
PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE IN CANADA, YOU CAN DONATE EITHER TO THE LOCAL CANADIAN RED CROSS OR TO HELP THE SIKSIKA FIRST NATION YOU CAN DONATE AT ANY BANK OF MONTREAL UNDER: "The Siksika Nation Relief Fund"
Thank You for your help.
