19 year old who got not much time left

My friend was only 19 year old and he found out that he had leukemia at the age of 17 when he was sent to a hospital. He was born in a poor and divorced family. His mother is jobless and his father had passed away after divorcing with his mom. No one cares about him, he never had a chance to have someone to celebrate his birthday. Now he is working 12 hour in a mall daily with a low pay trying to save money to save himself. Could sleep every night and had to rely on sleeping pills. He doesn’t want to let anyone knowing about his illness nor borrow money from his friends as he do not want to let others worried about him. Sorry if my English is bad but i really hope that he can get help so that i can have a chance to help him celebrate his birthday.
