19th Birthday Surprise.

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to click and read about my campaign. My name is Khai, 24, from a small country called Singapore and I am going to share bits and pieces of my journey into indonesia, Jakarta.

In mid 2016, I was on a spiritual rest and relax journey trying to get off the busy bustling city in Singapore. That's when i made a little research about Jakarta. Had many landmarks and great site seeing places. Something about Jakarta that I knew someone special will be a part of my love life.

True enough, I met Putri, a local girl with the sweetest of smile. We meet up almost everyday and picnics on the weekend in Kota Tua (Old City), did many window shopping as she's not the type that is materialistic and we live on a minimal budget. We worked really hard to save up for what we need and whenever we felt like travelling, we went backpacking, which was totally awesome.

Her mom is a single parent with 6 children and Putri's dad left her while she was only 8. She went through alot and never complaint about her life. I could sense her struggle but her cure was to smile. She took care of 3 younger siblings while her mum and two sisters went out to work.

Back to topic, days and months gone by, we have been together for one and a half years and I feel complete when I am around her. It's amazing to see how life can be wonderful even when the world is getting rough

12 February 2018 , is the day she will be 19 and I would love to surprise her with your help.

I would like to get funding to give her an unforgettable experience. She's been living her life simple but I guess it's time you and I place a memory in her heart

Reason why I chose to raise funds is because I would like her to know that there are many people our there that cares about her and everyone will always be there for someone.
