150cc or less multi-state adventure

Two U.S. Army vets looking to cruise across parts of America on a set of motorcycles of less than 150cc. The friendship began over both individual's passion about riding, racing, and working on motorcycles. However, due to life's little twists and turns they haven't been able to connect over bikes for an expansive amount of time. This campaign is driven directly towards helping two people with a harebrained idea to reconnect by flying to a place and buying either a Z125 or Grom and riding it to southern Arizona. One has been known to be smitten with the products of team green while the other has been riding and wrecking red for at least 10 years. They are receiving full support from their significant others and children, one was greeted with a shaking of the head signaling how ridiculous the idea is, the other was laughed at and informed that the idea was stupid because a 6'0"+ fat man would do nothing but suffer riding a motorcycle fit for a toddler. So with the family fully behind them, they turn to the internet to pander open handed in hopes of making this road trip into one that will fill a one legged man and a squared up bowl of jelly of a person with a joy and level of excitement they haven't had on a motorcycle in a long time. Not the excitement of the of speed or scraping of pegs, but the togetherness and brotherhood that they once shared with their comrade in arms.The contingency of 150cc or less is being provided because if they are able to complete this fund raiser and they head out into the great vastness of the states and are unable to get the bikes outlined above, they will fall back and make the trek on scooters, even with their wounded pride due to the step throughs the trip will be an epic that will challenge the likes of the Iliad or the Odyssey (for them anyway).

For anyone that contributes to our campaign, we thank you. We will also discuss some semblance of a reward for top donation(s) or donations over a set amount, at this juncture we have very little idea what we are doing and if it will even start to work out. We have never done this before so please be gentle. We will also be documenting the trip with either pictures or short recap videos of the days journey if you wish to follow us along.
